I am so fortunate to work with so many clients that have various traditions and cultures. This speaks volumes to who I am as a person, because my family is full of different traditions and cultures! Beto and Liz’s Charro wedding was full of their families culture from Mexico. From their stunning Catholic Wedding Ceremony to their reception with a banda and mariachi.
Early on in Liz’s wedding planning she informed me that Beto was going to be wearing traditional Charro attire for the wedding. I was super excited because I have not yet had the pleasure to photograph anyone wearing a Charro suit.
Since an actual Mexico wedding was not going to work out with their 400 guest count, they opted to keep the wedding local to Southern California. This did not go without its troubles! Liz had a difficult time locating a reception location that would have the capacity to hold their guest.

Beto is an avid horse rider and even owns a horse, so he knew of s horse paddock that was large enough to hold their reception. When Liz first showed me the location I was fairly worried about how they would pull off the look they wanted. But I was so amazed at the work done by Lilia who runs her own decor business.
