As promised, I wanted to offer my clients and potential clients some inspiration for their upcoming weddings. A lot of my clients don’t think about the little details that bring the wedding together. Not only for my obsession (lol) but also for your guest, and how all the images will come together, especially for an album design.
Step 1:
To start out, most of us typically will use a Pinterest Board to gather inspiration. But, make sure you rally in your thoughts, I know my boards are ALL over the place!
Step 2:
Next, contact a designer/planner/coordinator for your wedding. They will really help bring everything together for you without the stress. These amazing vendors (sometimes they are all in one which is perfect) can help with you your venue based on your color scheme or scenery you want for the day. This vendor will help you significantly with the planning process.
Step 3:
Book your photographer!!Â
Sorry I made that part a little bit bigger, lol, but this is so important! Why spend money to make your wedding beautiful, and not spend enough for an amazing photographer that you vibe with, and that has amazing work? Now, of course this would be when I toot my own horn, but to be honest, we may not vibe well together. I am not going to lie and tell you, I book every person that walks into my office, because that’s just crazy! It’s more about the connection and trust. Booking your photographer can be step two if you have your date and venue booked. Photographers can’t be booked for a date not set since we work with contracts that need a date. When booking your photographer, select one based on a style you love, not monetary value, because more than likely you won’t get someone you love!
Step 4:
Florist is your next step, once you have your vision together, finding an amazing florist that can bring together something unique for your wedding day.
Step 5:
The smaller details. If its in your budget (sometimes you can thrift this portion out if you plan accordingly). Booking a calligrapher, typically they can make all of your paper details. Invite suite, menu needed, signs, etc. Table settings, linen furniture, limo or car, musicians/DJ, lighting, baker, bartender, and any other fun unique details you want to add.
Regardless of your budget, and style, your wedding planning should be a fun experience!
