On December 27, 2019 Southern California mountains and even low/high deserts had a snow storm roll in. Falon and Brooke came to Joshua Tree in hopes of having a sunny but cool weathered elopement in the desert. However, the weather had other plans. We all woke up on December 28th to the news that Joshua Tree hd 1.5 ft of snow overnight! It was so crazy! We had been watching the news all day before and the day of hoping we were not going to have to move the elopement date because of any closures. The sun popped out and all we had to deal with was about 20-30 degree weather and slushy roads.
When I saw Falon I told her how fitting it was that she had picked out a dress that made her look like Elsa from Frozen! There was really no way she could have planned that any better! The love and friendship that Falon and Brooke share was just pure romance. We had so much fun freezing our butts off, and they could have not been better at not appearing to be cold lol. This elopement was really one for the books. I don’t know if we will ever see Joshua Tree with such a beautiful snow-filled landscape, it was an amazing site for sure.
