Lately I have been doing a lot of traveling with some of the most amazing artist and friends! My trip to Yosemite was no different! In the process of planning the trip, I contacted Dan to see if him and his girlfriend Brianna wanted me to photograph them. They were so down, and I was beyond excited! So the day of the shoot I had another anniversary session planned for sunrise, in which Bri did the make up for. So we were all up at 3am in the morning getting ready. The drive from our cabin to our first location was over an hour. So in order to catch sunrise we had to leave early! After we finished the anniversary session we decided to start Dan and Bri’s session. We walked around until we found an awesome place to start shooting.
Out of all the people I get to photograph, there is nothing like photographing another photographer. I was so nervous, and at times when I photograph clients I get nervous before the shoot or wedding. When I told Dan I was so nervous about the shoot and sending him the gallery, he told me, ” If you are not nervous before something you are passionate, then your probably a f*cking psychopath”. This made me feel so much better about my nerves and made me realize I am not a psychopath! LOL
