Mike contacted me 2 weeks before his planned proposal and I got so excited hearing what he had in mind and learning about him and Susie. To be honest, I was a bit worried about the weather because prior to the shoot date it was hot! I was thinking I would die during this 2 mile hike straight up to the location of the proposal. I was beyond happy when I woke up to this beautiful overcast weather! It made the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains look like the mountains on Maui!
When I got up to the spot, Mike’s daughters were setting up the location. I was looking thinking to myself it looked kind of cheesy, but stayed quiet until I felt it was the right time. So I just took shots of them setting up. Then, they finally asked me what I thought LOL!!! Well, it looks a bit cheesy. They all agreed, and said their dad was cheesy lol. So they took most of the cheesy stuff down.
Once we got the text from Mike that they were close we all got to position.
